The Bristlecone Pine Tree lives and thrives in a hostile environment. Little water, harsh winters, poor soil. But this tree has adapted to be able to live in this environment where little other vegetation can last for long. That may be its secret to a life that can last for thousands of years. To some, they not the most beautiful of trees. They do not grow tall. But they have a beauty all their own.
