Starting in 2019, Matt created a calendar featuring some natural aspect of California. Each calendar is printed on 8.5″ by 11″ 80 pound paper, spiral bound along the top edge with a hole punched below the binding for easy hanging on a wall. Each month includes a calendar, each day being a one inch square. Above the days of the month is an image of one of Matt’s paintings.
The 2022 Calendar features paintings of Great Basin Bristlecone Pine Trees, the oldest known tree in the world, with some individual trees being approximately 5,000 years old. They thrive in a hostile environment, and have a unique beauty all to their own.
