Bristlecone Pine Notecards Set B

Great Basin Bristlecone Pine Trees are the oldest known living trees, with the oldest known tree being about 5,000 years old. They do not grow tall, but they thrive in adverse conditions at high altitudes, in poor soil, and little water. They are strong, and beautiful in their own way. The mixed media paintings of these trees were created from photographs that Matt took at the Schulman Grove in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest in the White Mountains of California.
